Football Saturday

This post is about a week late, but better late than never, right?

We went to the Vol Walk two weekends ago. Josephine is kind of strange about it. She always wants to go and says she's had a good time after we leave, but while we're there, she's pretty cranky. The crowd overwhelms her a bit. Here are some pictures from the Vol Walk.

Ada is growing so much this month! Not only in size, but the things she's doing now. She can easily and quickly climb all of the stairs (without falling back down them). She will brush her hair with a hairbrush. She knows the color blue (she just says the "b" sound, but we know what she means). She can walk pushing the walker. She's not saying too much, though. She'll sometimes say "mama", but that is also her word for "more". She'll say "dada" sometimes too. She has a word for JoJo, but it's more of a buh-buh sound.

Josephine is really into the PBS cartoon (am I allowed to call them cartoons anymore?) Dinosaur Train. I haven't sat down to really watch it yet, but it seems pretty informative. Josephine and her dinosaurs and dragons. ; ) She also likes the spelling shows that come on PBS, too. She gets too shy to tell me about them, but Nathan says that she's learning some spelling. Josephine is also into being told stories before she goes to bed. Tonight it was about a princess and a prince. Most of the time they are about animals, though. Two nights about it was about a goat and some other type of animal I can't remember who were stepsisters and lived in castle. The other characters were an alligator and Pear the Hippopotamus. The strangest one was probably about the horse and dragon at church. She comes up with the setting, we just keep the story going.
