Ada is officially crawling! And pulling up a little. I just realized that I don't have any pictures of her crawling yet, so I'll have to put some up next time. She's eating a ton these days, as she always has. But she feeds herself finger foods now and each meal takes about an hour. She gets mad when I spoon-feed her foods like yogurt and applesauce.
Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.
Josephine looking so pretty.
Elena and Josephine at the zoo.
Jo, Ada, Grannie Ratch, and I took a trip to Alabama and Middle Tennessee. We visited Charlotte Ann and Judy for a day then the girls and I stayed with Leah, Brian, and Isaac for a couple days while Grannie had her doctor's appointment at Vanderbilt. Here are a couple pictures of our stay with Leah.
Elizabeth and Ada swinging.
Leah and Isaac (2 months) in the moby wrap. (I can't believe how big he's getting.)
The following weekend the girls, Nathan, and I spent a weekend at Oconee Lake with Greg, Meredith, and Audrey. Josephine loved swimming in the lake. She even went tubing with Nathan. Ada tubed with me once and actually fell asleep during the ride. Poor baby. It was funny, though. Audrey and Ada are only 2 months apart, but there is over a 5-pound different (maybe closer to 10). They had fun together. Audrey followed Josephine around and Ada followed Audrey. The way kids assume a pecking order always amazes me. We had a wonderful time -- thanks Clinton's for having us!
Ada (11.5 months) and Audrey (13.5 months) playing.
Audrey and Ada in their life jackets.
Ada was not comfortable in the life jacket and it was nap time. So, therefore, she was crying.
