First Food

Ada ate her first food today. She's been reaching for our food and drinks for about a week now. She was very excited to get her own food. It lasted for a 5 or 6 bites, but we'll try again tomorrow. She's tasted lemon a couple times, which she liked, but she's never actually eaten anything.


Ada's first bite of baby cereal. Nathan had to hold her arms down so she wouldn't grab the spoon.


She decided that she was done.


Josephine wanted me to take her picture. Can you tell by the red juice stain above her lip and we've done away with the sippy cup?


The girls sat next to Nathan while he read a book. It was too cute not to take a picture. They were holding hands through the whole book. Ada reaches for Josephine whenever she's around.


Ada cries real tears, not just angry cries.


She loves her toys! She always has to have something to chew on.
