She's Got The Look

Josephine has started making a new, not so pleasant, face. When she's not happy about something, she will make her eyebrows go down into a mad look. I think it evolved from the rabbit face. There are some pictures below of her doing it. I thought I wasn't supposed to get that look from her until she was a teenager. Oh, well.

Josephine with her medal that she was awarded at The Little Gym. She was so proud.

Josephine Update:

  • Josephine has started to walk backwards. It's usually shows up in a game she plays when I'm trying to get her to come to me so I can change her diaper. She'll walk towards me with a smile on my face and when I reach my arms out for her she starts walking backwards away from me. She does it other times too.
  • Josephine is now one of the older kids in her Little Gym class. They started a new semester last week. Most of the babies are still crawling. Josephine tripped over and landed on one of them, which I was impressed with. She never watches the floor when she's walking. She finally held onto the bar all by herself! I was very proud.
  • She was trying to say new words last night. She almost said "tiger". We knew what she meant, though. It was a two-syllable word and she had the passy in her mouth. She made the "neigh" sound for a horse. There was something else but I can't remember. She doesn't say many words these days. We hadn't had a Baby Einstein video on for a long time so we put one in last night to see if she would like it. Boy, did she ever. It was about numbers and had a lot of animals in it. She clapped after every scene. She's been looking at one of her animal books the past couple days by herself and making all the animal sounds when she sees them. Very cute.
