Here are some pictures from the past few months. I'm trying to do a better update, but it takes too long to upload the pictures. The pictures are out of order, but it shouldn't be a big deal.
We went to Columbia to visit Aunt Leah, Uncle Brian, and Cousin Isaac in November. Here are some pictures of the trip.
Ada giving her big little cousin a kiss.
Getting pictures of all four of them together was quite a task. This was the best I could do.
Josephine being sweet with cousin Isaac.
Halloween 2009
Josephine was a ballerina again.
Ada was Piglet.
Family Pictures
Ada (15 months), Josephine (3 3/4)
For some reason Josephine was insistent on sitting in this black chair for her pictures. Not sure why. But it's a cute picture of her.
Ada trying to escape her chair.
Family Picture
Look at what Ada can do.
Ada climbed the stepstool to get to the candy.
After 3 failed attempts at uploading more pictures, I'm giving up for now and will try to do it later this week.
Our news from this fall:
We're expecting baby girl #3 in late April! She was a complete surprise and I even missed the first trimester. But she looks great (I'll post an ultrasound picture when blogger will cooperate again) and she enjoys using my bladder as a trampoline. Daddy and Granna were finally able to feel her kick last weekend. I may have to change our blog address since we are/have added 2 new ones to the family. natebethjo is easy for me to remember though. We'll see. I can't even update regularly, let alone start up another blog.
Ada is finally walking. She was 16 months old before she decided that it was easier to walk than to crawl. When she walks, she still won't bend her knees and she kind of does the Frankenstein's monster walk. In a very sweet, cute way, of course. Ada has a few words that she'll say: baby, dada, mama, JoJo (which sounds a lot like dada), ho ho ho, ball, yes, kitty cat (sometimes) and Ada. She signs the word for more (which means feed me!), but it able to tell you yes or no when you ask her a question. She has the sweetest voice when she says yes and a huge smile to go along with it. Ada's favorite thing right now is books with animals in them. She makes the 'ffff' sound (for woof) when she sees a dog. She was trying to make the horse sound last night, but she just kept spitting more than saying. Ada has 4 teeth now, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. I guess she does everything at her own pace. ; )
Josephine's favorite thing right now is the movie Earth. It's the condensed version of Discovery Channel's Planet Earth. I don't know how many times she's watched it. Ada loves it too. They both love the Birds of Paradise scene and the polar bears. Josephine is also into telling time, although she's heard enough of the vocabulary to make up silly times, like six-one o'clock. She's pretty good at telling time at the hours and half hours, though. I got her a clock for Christmas for her room. Josephine turned four at the beginning of the month (again, I'll add pictures when blogger cooperates). She asked for another pink dragon cake this year. Except this time she wanted to add fire. When we told her that we couldn't eat the cake if there was fire, her reply was "we can throw water on the fire then eat the cake". It all seems so simple to her. : )
I will try to update soon!!!
