We went to the mountains last weekend with Grannie and Papaw. Josephine got her first taste of the cold mountain stream at the Y. It took her a little bit to warm up to it (no pun intended), but she had a great time. Here are some pictures Grannie took and a video at the bottom. I tried to upload another video, but it just woudn't work.
The water was really cold, as you can see by Nathan's face.
Josephine wanted to go to the rock in the middle of the stream, so Nathan carried her out there. They're giving each other high fives.
Elizabeth finally caved and joined them.
We went on the Cades Cove loop. We let Josephine out of her carseat so she can see better. She climbed in back with me at one point and wanted her seatbelt and headphones on.
Video of the three of us at the Y.

Looks like you all had a good day! We've been meaning to take Leni "hiking" too-I guess the weather's finally good enough to really get out! I like the one of Josephine in the backseat-it's always a nice treat to be "let out"!
